2014 Crown Drum Major’s Log: Stardate 11405.20

Today is day four of Spring Training 2014 and we would like to introduce to you our new daily feature called the Drum Major’s Log. Linda Harvey and Hunter Bown will provide regular updates thoughout Spring Training to keep you informed on Crown’s ‘Out of This World’ progress toward the first public performane to be held on June 15 as part of the 25th Anniversary Celebration of Crown. This blog is part of the Behind The Crown 2014 series which will include these updates as well as regular videos from Spring Training and tour.

Saturday, May 17 was move-in day for Carolina Crown at Gardner Webb University in Boiling Springs, NC. Unseasonably cool weather and some rain met the 2014 corps as members adapted to their surroundings and learned about the expectations and plans for the next four weeks. This day came after the Crown Leadership Team spent Friday working together to learn their roles and bond together as a team.
