Spirit to host alumni corps rehearsal, town hall meeting February 19th

Alums and community members, are invited to join Spirit of Atlanta this Sunday, February 19th, for a day filled with fun and celebration as we kick off the 2023 Alumni corps season and update the community on the state of the corps and our future plans. The activities will take place at Mt. Bethel Christian Academy in Marietta, GA.

The day starts at 11:00 am with a preview of the first couple of minutes of the 2023 production by the junior corps horn line. We’ll gather for lunch with the members at noon, and at 1:00 pm, we’ll hold a town hall meeting with the corps leadership team. This is a chance to learn more about the organization’s future and get updates on the corps’ status. The meeting is open to everyone who wishes to attend. Then at 2:00 pm, the Spirit of Atlanta Alumni corps will kick off its 2023 season with its first rehearsal for brass and percussion. T

“Our goal is to strengthen the relationship between the junior and alumni corps by bringing everyone together,” said Jason Burns, Executive Director of the Spirit of Atlanta. “This is a great opportunity for our current marching members to meet alumni and be welcomed into the Spirit of Atlanta family.”
